Counter-Terrorism Service - CTS managed to capture four terrorists in separate areas of Kirkuk.
"The heroes of the anti-terrorism service, in coordination with the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, managed to arrest three elements belonging to Daesh terrorist gangs while trying to flee from the aerial bombardment of international coalition warplanes in (Zghitoun Valley) on the outskirts of Kirkuk governorate," said the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Wednesday.
"During this duty, the CTS managed to destroy a number of tunnels used by terrorist gangs to move and hide, and they also found explosive materials and some light weapons," he added.
In conjunction with the first operation, a force from the CTS carried out another operation that resulted in the arrest of a terrorists belonging to a terrorist network affiliated with Daesh gangs in Hawija district, explained Rasool.
