Spanish Embassy supports the authorities regarding the death of an Iraqi

    INA – Baghdad Spanish Embassy in Iraq announced to offer full support to the Iraqi authorities regarding the investigation about the car accident that has resulted in the death of an Iraqi citizen. The accident occurred in the Green Zone where the Iraqi citizen, Omar Khalid’s car and the Spanish Embassy’s private car have crashed. The embassy stated that ‘it was Omar’s fault’ as they have tried to reach out Omar’s family and offered help accordingly. Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs asserted that an immediate contact occurred with the embassy and the investigation won’t be easy for any diplomatic reasons.
