Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the arrival of two field hospitals from Qatar to help tackle Corona epidemic.
Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, Iraqi embassies have reached out to all the governments accredited to them within the framework of activating bilateral cooperation in the medical field, and the delivery of curative and preventive medical assistance to Iraq to bridge the shortfall in hospitals. "
He added, "The Iraqi embassies were able to bring a lot of help in this field from different countries, and that after continuous coordination of the Iraqi embassy in Doha and the activity of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Baghdad, within the framework of activating the bilateral cooperation aspects in the health field, two field hospitals arrived in the country various medical supplies, air conditioners, beds, and generators to help tackle the Corona virus. "
