The World Health Organization confirmed today, Friday, that the candidate vaccine AstraZeneca is developing against the Corona virus is probably the leading and most advanced vaccine in the world today.

The organization said that the "Moderna" vaccine is also a candidate, pointing out that it is not far from the stage of progress reached by the "AstraZeneca" vaccine.

They added that it is currently negotiating with a number of Chinese drug manufacturers on possible vaccines for Covid-19.

It is noteworthy that the Italian Health Minister, Roberto Speranza, announced earlier this month that Italy, Germany, France and the Netherlands signed a contract with the company "AstraZeneca" to produce a successful vaccine against the Corona virus.
