Salih stresses the importance of unifying religious discourse to confront violence and extremism

 Today, Thursday, President of the Republic Dr. Barham Salih stressed the importance of unifying religious discourse and enhancing unity among the Iraqi components to confront violence and extremism.

 A statement of his media office, which was received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Today, the President of the Shiite Endowment Court, Ghani Zaghir Atiyah, the head of the Sunni Endowment Bureau, Saad Hamid Kambash, and the Christian engineer, Raad Kajji, received the President of the Republic."

 The President of the Republic stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of unifying religious discourse and enhancing unity among the Iraqi components to confront violence and extremism."
