The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed today, Saturday, that the return of civil aviation is linked to the instructions of the Supreme Committee for Health and Safety and the crisis cell.
The Director of Media for the Civil Aviation Authority, Jihad Al-Diwan, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The return of civil aviation is linked to the instructions of the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety and the crisis cell, and it is they who decide to open Iraqi airspace, or extend the suspension of these flights."
With regard to domestic aviation, the Cabinet commented: "The airports in Iraq and their personnel, in addition to all crews affiliated with the national carrier, are the first line of prevention in the Iraqi civil aviation system, and health preventive measures must be applied to the airports to return to life in them," noting that "The Aviation Authority has given the green light to the management of local airports to implement travelers' health precautions and the process of spacing between people. "
