CBI: We adhere to a list of criteria in entering banks currency entry

 Today, Wednesday, the Central Bank of Iraq affirmed its commitment to a list of criteria that include compliance points, in introducing banks to the foreign currency sale window.

 The Director General of the Accounting Department at the Central Bank, Ihsan Shamran Al-Yasiri, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "discrimination does not exist in entering the window for selling the currency, but some banks do not meet the criteria approved by the bank, for the quality and compliance with decisions, especially regarding money-laundering units."  .

 Al-Yasiri added that "some of those who fail to reach the criteria of the Central Bank are accused of discrimination."
