The Ministry of Transport has revealed plans to reinforce the Iraqi air fleet with 30 Boeing aircraft over the coming years.
The technical director of the Ministry, Abbas Omran, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the air fleet represented by Iraqi Airways was supposed to be strengthened by 30 new aircraft (Boeing), stressing that Iraq is supposed to receive two planes in 2020, and one plane in The year 2021, while the rest of the planes will be received consecutively in the coming years.
With regard to the fleet, Imran indicated that the ministry possesses 100 modern trucks and is about to increase them, indicating that the General Company for Land Transport is responsible for transporting foodstuffs to the stores of the Ministry of Commerce in all governorates.
