Today, Monday, the Ministry of Transport announced the registration of an earthquake in Sulaymaniyah.
The media office of the ministry said in a statement that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) received a copy of it, that "seismic observatories in the ministry recorded an earthquake at 10:36:36 local time in the Kallar district, Sulaymaniyah governorate."
The statement added that "the strength of the tremor reached (4,1) degrees on the Richter scale," noting that "the citizens felt it in the south of the Khanaqin and Kalar district and some areas of the outskirts of the Kafri region close to the occurrence of the tremor."
