Member of Parliament Muhammad Shi'a Al-Sudani revealed an initiative to support the Prime Minister-designate in giving him the freedom to choose his cabinet.
Al-Sudani said to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Wednesday: "A meeting was held with the participation of a group of deputies away from the addresses of political blocs," noting that the meeting came in the light of the current political crisis and a sense of the danger surrounding the country because of the challenges it faces.
He pointed out that the meeting aims to coordinate efforts with a national initiative in support of the Prime Minister in charge of forming the government, and to give him freedom to choose his cabinet, provided that he bears responsibility.
He pointed out that "among the most important priorities of the Allawi government is to stabilize the prestige of the state and restore the rule of law, explaining that one of the most important tasks for the next government is to create peaceful environments in conducting free and fair elections that express true representation of citizens and provide them with an atmosphere of freedom in giving their votes To its representatives. "
