State of Law coalition confirmed its commitment not to interfere with the cabinet selection of Muhammad Allawi for the government.

"State of Law coalition is committed to leaving the task of choosing the ministerial cabinet to the Prime Minister-designate and the coalition will not present any candidate in the cabinet of Allawi's government,” said a leader of State of Law coalition, Saad al-Muttalabi to Iraqi News Agency INA.

Al-Muttalabi suggested that Allawi submit his cabinet in the specified constitutional period.

Noting that, the President of the Republic Barham Salih had appointed Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi to form the new government.

The Prime Minister-designate Allawi pledged to form a government that represents all parties and rejects any party candidates. He also pledged to fight corruption, provide job opportunities and dissolve economic committees of political factions.
