First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi called for the importance of reviewing oil policy throughout the country.
Al-Kaabi stressed the necessity of protecting oil wealth, especially related to the issue of the mechanism for assigning corporate contracts and permanent investigation in licensing rounds, as well as the supply, distribution, export of energy and the work of refineries.
He called for urgent and lasting cooperation between the executive and legislative branches to address the imbalance facing the oil sector and protect it from the continuous attempts of destruction, included a statement by his Media Office.
