INA - Baghdad Ministry of Construction and Housing (MOCH) launched the biggest national project to monitor the water of Tigris and Euphrates. The project included seven stations of water quality monitoring and immediate process in case of any pollution over Basra, Karbala, Sulaimany and Maysan “Central Goverments have launched the project in cooperation with European Union delegation to Iraq,” Istabraq Ibrahim, Deputy Minister of MOCH stated to INA. Health care teams have been working to measure the percentage of pollution in the two rivers and it has approved to be high “which led to start such project”, as Ibrahim noted.
