The Presidency: The parliament’s response to determining the largest bloc was not received

Today, Tuesday, the Presidency of the Republic confirmed that it has not received a letter from the council of Representatives regarding the identification of the largest bloc.

And the transfer of the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency : It did not receive any answer from the Presidency of the Republic of the council of Representatives No. 4022 on 12-22-2019, in which he requested to specify the largest number and concerned with the nomination of the Prime Minister. The first deputy of the council of Representatives, Hassan Al-Kaabi, had confirmed, today, Tuesday, that there is no legal effect of any book addressed to the President of the Republic on the largest bloc.

Al-Kaabi said in a brief statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA):"There is no legal effect of any book directed at the President of the Republic except the book in which the resigned Abdul-Mahdi government was formed, according to which the largest bloc was settled."

On Sunday, President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, referred the Federal Court's reply regarding the largest bloc to the parliament.
