Finance Committee confirmed on Thursday, that it has not seen the draft budget law for fiscal year 2020.
"Our committee has not yet seen the budget for the year 2020, because the government did not send it," the Rapporteur of Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ahmad al-Saffar said in a brief statement to Iraqi News Agency – INA.
A member of the House of Representatives, Haneen Al-Qaddo, revealed in a previous statement to INA that the value of the 2020 budget is estimated at 160 trillion and a deficit of 50 trillion IQD, indicating that the total value of revenue is estimated at 84 trillion IQD.
