Minister of Oil Thamir Ghadhban confirmed that Iraq is committed to decreasing production that was decided by the countries of oil exporting OPEC and the allied countries too.
This came during a press conference when he was heading to a meeting held between the minister of oil and the countries exporting oil OPEC in addition to the allied countries outside the organization and led by Russia.
“The meeting includes reviewing the reports and the researches concerned to the oil market and the challenges that it faces in terms of Excess oil and increased shale oil production of US in addition to the US-Chinese economy that is considered as effective factors in the World Oil Market,” added Ghadhban.
