PM Abdul Mahdi and the President of Turkey discussed bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in terms of counter-terrorism, on Wednesday.
This came during a phone call that Abdul Mahdi received from the President of Turkey where the latter asserted his country’s support to Iraq and the its stability in addition to develop the bilateral relations and the response of the government to the demands of the protests.
Abdul Mahdi explained the recent situations in the country, especially the peaceful protests and the means of dealing with it as to distinguish between the peaceful protesters and the corruptors who seeks destruction and attacking the security forces in addition to terrorizing the citizens and schools.
