Civil Defense to INA: Those who set the fires do not belong to peaceful demonstrators

The Civil Defense Directorate confirmed Sunday that those who ignite do not belong to peaceful demonstrators.

The director general of civil defense, Major General Kazem Bohan, told the Iraqi News Agency INA that those who ignite the fires are a group spread in the vicinity of Rashid Street and near the Central Bank and bridge Alsink and Square Khellani trying to cause riots and they do not belong to peaceful demonstrators.

He added that the comparison is unfair between peaceful demonstrators understood and very cooperative with the civil defense, and a group trying to friction with security forces and the occurrence of these fires by throwing (Molotov cocktails), pointing out that peaceful demonstrators stand completely against these behaviors and resist and fight strongly.
