The Integrity Commission announced a seven-year prison sentence for the head of the current Martyrs Institution, based on the provisions of resolution 160 of 1983.
A statement issued by the Commission's Investigation Department, received by Iraqi News Agency that the Karkh Criminal Court issued an appearance in presence of the President of the current martyrs institution, against the backdrop of the Central Advisory Committee in the institution with two private companies to invest the monument of the martyr.
It is noteworthy that the Commission had announced earlier this month the issuance of sixty arrest warrants and recruitment of deputies and local officials on charges of corruption and waste in public money.
