Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim met with the head of the Iraq investigation team, Karim Khan.
During the meeting, the role of the UN investigation team in collecting and storing evidence criminalizing Daesh terrorist gangs was discussed and preserved in Iraq to guarantee the rights of Iraqi victims, a foreign ministry statement said.
Al-Hakim stressed on the importance of the UN team's cooperation with the Iraqi government to prepare the requirements of its work.
