During his meeting with the High Representative of the Secretary-General of the Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Angel Moratinos, Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim called for working to build human solidarity among diverse societies and address hate speech.
Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim met with High Representative of the Secretary-General of the Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Angel Moratinos on the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, a statement from the Foreign Ministry's press office said.
Hakim called for this alliance to undertake initiatives that build human solidarity among diverse societies to confront violence and discrimination and to address hate speech, the statement said, noting the need to promote intercultural dialogue and human dignity.
