Inspector General of Education Ministry, Raed Kazem Al-Haddad, started on Sunday an investigation to determine the reasons for low success rates, in all Directorates of Education in Iraq.
Al-Haddad said in a statement received by Ina;.. “that his office began forming investigation committees to work in Education Directorates in Baghdad and governorates all over Iraq, to determine reasons for low success rates this year”.
He added: “the investigation committees will carry on, and might question all officials (who may include general directors, department directors, supervisors, and school administrators) to identify the reasons for an apparent decline in recent success rates; in order to hold accountable the negligent, to appreciate the efforts of the distinguished, and to make a qualitative leap in the processes to be remedied in the coming years, towards improving the educational work”.
He assured that.. “the Minister of Education will honor distinguished school administrations that achieved 100% success rates, to support the efforts of educators who achieved outstanding results during the last academic year”.
