Iraq won the best four theatrical awards during its participation in the festival Eve Ritual Theater 12 that held in Amman at the Royal Cultural Center Theater, which was named this year (Theater Hakawati and popular class).
According to the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency that the work of the play (Al-Wasta Iraqi) received four important prizes in the festival in addition to honorary prizes for each team participating.Director of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Baghdad University, Zuhair Kazim told INA that the participation of Iraq is distinctive and the Iraqi delegation has won awards in all fields.
He added that Iraq won the award for best theatrical work and the best directing and best scenography of Mohammed al-Rubaie and the best work equally for Jassim Mohammed and awards for the artists Omar Zia and Azhar al-Asali and Ahmed Awni, Iraqi in Amman to express gratitude for this creative theatrical achievement.
