Border Crossing Committee announced on Sunday that Mandli port is to be closed gradually so that traders can start pulling back their own goods.
This came according to a direct order from the Prime Minister and the Committee to inform Iran by that order that started to be applied since 8th of August, 2019.
The committee explained that Mantharita port is efficient enough to make all the goods exchange.
"This decision is temporary until the necessary procedures to be taken and rehabilitate the port of Mandli to be safe and ready enough to be reopened," included the Committee's statement.
