The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday the delivery of 46 remains belonging to Kuwaiti missing persons with the participation of the Red Cross mission in Baghdad.The technical team was able to find these remains in Muthanna province last June, foreign ministry spokesman Ahmed al-Sahaf said in a statement received.
He added that Iraq will spare no effort to determine the fate of the other missing, and that the handover of the remains indicates the continuation of efforts to find out the fate of others. He praised the great efforts exerted by the Red Cross Mission in Baghdad since 1991, which have had a significant impact on the progress of this humanitarian issue.
