Directed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces today, Monday; the third stage of ‘Will of Victory’ operation started in areas of Diyala. A statement by the Security Media Cell (Ina received a copy of) said today: “Directed by Adil Abdul-Mahdi the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and the supervision of the Joint Operations Command; the third stage of ‘Will of Victory’ operation started in areas of Diyala, to cleanse areas north of Muqdadiya and Jalawla districts and Khankin. With the participation of the fifth division of the Iraqi army, the Operations Command commandos brigade, and the Diyala Police. Six brigades participated at the Nineveh sector; to cleanse Al-Atshana hills, Badoosh mountain range, Sheik Ibraheem and the Line areas. The operation went on, supported by Iraqi and Army Air Force, and the International Alliance Air force”.
