The Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Ali Hakeem met today in Baghdad the Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon, the State Minister for the Commonwealth and the United Nations at the Foreign and Commonwealth British Ministry.
A statement issued by MoFA said that both sides discussed the bilateral relations between Baghdad and London and the ways to enhance them to serve both peoples’ interests.
The two minters affirmed on condensing all possible efforts in order to boost the security and stability in the region, besides supporting Iraq in its aims to reconstruct the infrastructure of the liberated cities and towns, and opening new horizons for the mutual cooperation, the statement showed.
