Al-Kaabi: Protecting diplomatic missions is every Iraqi’s responsibility

Deputy Speaker of Iraqi Parliament Hassan al-Kaabi asserted that the protection provided to embassies and the diplomatic missions inside the country is the responsibility of each Iraqi and not only the government.
“The democratic regime of Iraq allows practicing the peaceful right of protesting for each citizen. Yet, this can’t reach the point of assaulting the other facilities or public buildings. This is not allowed neither by our moral background, religion, nor law,” said al-Kaabi.
