Speaker of Iraqi Parliament Muhammed al-Halbusi ade a phone call with his counterpart Fawzia Abdullah Zainal to express his condemnation for the assault on the Bahraini embassy in Baghdad.
“The right of protesting in legislated in all the democratic regimes. Yet, assaulting on diplomatic delegations and the embassies is a red line indeed,” said al-Halbusi.
He explained that there is a wide ranged reprobation form people and known figures towards such illegal and outlaw actions.
“These actions will not affect the mutual relations between the two countries nor with other countries, especially now Iraq is wide opened to the Arab and the region’s countries,” he added.
