Al-Halbusi and Pompeo discuss reconstruction and investment

    INA - BAGHDAD

    Speaker of Iraqi Parliament Muhammed al-Halbusi and the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo discussed the security, military and economic cooperation between the two countries.

    Pompeo expressed his happiness of this meeting and the role it plays in enhancing the mutual relations.

    Both have discussed the Iraq-US strategic partnership, counter-terrorism and extremism as well as securing the borders and ending Daesh terrorist groups for good.
