The President of the Republic congratulates the people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr

President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid congratulated the people of the Republic on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, stressing the importance of solidarity among the people of the country and working diligently to consolidate political and security stability and improve the standard of living.

A statement from the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), quoted the President as saying: "On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to the people of Iraq and the entire Islamic nation," praying to God Almighty to "bring it back to our dear country and our proud people with goodness, blessings, and prosperity."

He added, "We take this blessed occasion to emphasize the importance of solidarity among the people of the country, adherence to our unity and national identity, and working diligently to consolidate political and security stability, improve the standard of living, and provide the best services to all Iraqis."
