Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani congratulated the Iraqi people on Thursday on the occasion of Nowruz, stressing that this day recalls the bonds of love, a shared destiny, and a great history.

In a post on the X platform followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Prime Minister said, "My warmest congratulations to the Iraqi people in general, and our Kurdish people in particular, on the occasion of the Nowruz holidays. May God Almighty bring it back to us all with goodness, and may Iraq enjoy stability and security, and rise to a brighter tomorrow thanks to the efforts of all its fraternal people."

He added, "Nowruz is a day that reminds us of the bonds of love, a shared destiny, and a great history that bind all Iraqis, in all parts of our noble homeland. May our Iraq be well and prosperous every year."
