President Rashid discusses with the Syrian FM the current developments in the region

    President Abdul Latif G. Rashid discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani on Saturday.
     
    The President's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The President of the Republic received the Syrian Foreign Minister at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein."

    The statement added that "the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and current developments in the region."
