The price of Brent crude recorded $70.06 per barrel at 4 pm Baghdad time, and it had recorded $69.03 at the close yesterday.
The price of US crude rose to $66.91 per barrel, and it had closed yesterday at $66.31.
Oil prices recorded a slight rise today, Thursday, after falling during the past four sessions amid the possibility of easing US tariffs on Canadian crude supplies, but investors remained cautious due to the remaining tariffs on Mexico and plans by major producers to increase production.
