Musk backs US leaving UN, NATO

Billionaire and the head of the United States Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk voiced his support for the US withdrawal from the United Nations (UN) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Musk briefly wrote "I agree" in response to a post by an X user stating that it was time for the US to leave both organizations.

In December, US President Donald Trump declared he would "absolutely" consider taking the US out of NATO if member states failed to increase their defense budgets.
