PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani directed the local government in Baghdad Governorate on Saturday to follow up on implementing the projects that are within its responsibility, including the four sewage projects.
He met the Governor of Baghdad, Abdulmutalib Ali Al-Alawi, and the head of the Baghdad Provincial Council, Ammar Farhan Al-Hamdani.
During the meeting, they reviewed efforts and measures aimed at improving and developing the outskirts of the capital, implementing key projects, and delivering essential services to residents.
Al-Sudani directed the local government to follow up on the implementation of projects under its responsibility, including the four major sewerage projects; Sab’ Al-Bour, Abu Ghraib, Al-Wahda, and Al-Nahrawan; the new cities, capital entrances, hospitals, and schools, emphasizing the need for accuracy and adherence to the specified timelines.
The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of teamwork and strengthening efforts to achieve tangible progress that citizens can experience firsthand, noting that accomplished projects will enhance public confidence in the government’s work.
