The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mohammed Al-Hassan, today, Thursday, briefed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, on the work of the UNAMI mission and the steps taken to end its missions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mohammed Al-Hassan, briefed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, on the work of the UNAMI mission and the steps taken to end its missions by the end of this year."
Al-Hassan stressed, "The United Nations is committed to supporting Iraq in its path towards stability and development."
