Iraq takes part in the 7th meeting of the Arab Constitutional Courts and Councils' Executive Office

    The Federal Supreme Court confirmed on Thursday that Iraq participated in all the proposals submitted to the Arab Courts Association, indicating that its role was effective in drafting the decisions of the association's meeting.

    A member of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Ghaleb Amer Gharibawi, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Federal Supreme Court, represented by its president, Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud, and a member of the court, Judge Ghaleb Amer Gharibawi, participated in the meeting of the Executive Office of the Arab Constitutional Courts and Councils at its seventh session, as well as the General Assembly of the Arab Constitutional Courts and Councils at its twelfth session, held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.”

    He added that “Iraq, as a member of the Executive Bureau of the Union, participated in all the proposals submitted to the General Assembly, as well as participating in the discussions that took place today at the General Assembly meeting,” pointing out that “its role was effective in formulating the decisions and recommendations issued by the Union.”
