Al-Sudani Meets Iraqi Doctor Mohammed Abu Ragheef and Directs the Establishment of the Iraqi Hospital in Gaza

    Prime Minister Mohammed Shi'a Al-Sudani on Sunday directed the establishment of an Iraqi hospital in Gaza.

     
    Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency INA that Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today the Iraqi doctor Mohammed Taher Abu Ragheef, known as the “Ambassador to Humanity.”
     
    The statement read “Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the humanitarian and moral significance of Dr. Abu Ragheef’s efforts in response to the tragedy in Gaza, describing them as a source of pride for all Iraqis. He highlighted that his actions embody the values and principles that define the Iraqi people’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.”
     
    It further said “In recognition of his courageous humanitarian service, Prime Minister Al-Sudani directed that Dr. Abu Ragheef be granted a residential unit in central Baghdad and a diplomatic passport. HeHe also ordered the establishment of the Iraqi Hospital in Gaza to serve the resilient Palestinian people, reaffirming Iraq’s principled and humanitarian stance.”
     
    The statement also added that “Dr. Abu Ragheef expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for this recognition and acknowledged Iraq’s ongoing official and public efforts in support of Gaza, as well as its principled stance and previous initiatives.”
