Minister of Justice, Dr. Khaled Shawani, confirmed today, Tuesday, the ministry's commitment to supporting the efforts of the Integrity Commission in combating corruption and enhancing transparency, praising its role in protecting public money and consolidating the values of integrity in state institutions.
A statement by the Ministry of Justice, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Minister of Justice conducted a field visit to the Iraqi Academy for Combating Corruption, where he discussed with the Chairman of the Integrity Commission, Muhammad Ali Al-Lami, ways to enhance cooperation, especially in preventive measures to combat corruption, with a focus on developing work mechanisms in the real estate registration and reform departments."
In a discussion session entitled "The Ministry's Practical Experience in Combating Corruption," Shawani reviewed "the ministry's experience in re-evaluating important contracts and diagnosing the sources of corruption," stressing "the importance of automation in facilitating services," stressing "the continuation of cooperation with the Integrity Commission to enhance transparency and protect public money."
Shawani stressed that "his ministry is committed to supporting the efforts of the Integrity Commission in combating corruption and promoting transparency," praising "its role in protecting public funds and establishing the values of integrity in state institutions."
