National Security Adviser, Qasim Al-Araji, confirmed today, Monday, that Iraq's relationship with the international coalition is strategic and we are working to develop it in all fields.
The media office of the National Security Adviser stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "National Security Adviser, Qasim Al-Araji, received the commander of the international coalition in Iraq and Syria, Major General Kevin Leahy, and his accompanying delegation."
"The meeting witnessed a review of the security situation in Iraq in general and the Syrian arena in particular, and the challenges facing the region were discussed, as well as the joint efforts made by the two sides to enhance the security and stability of the region."
Araji stressed, according to the statement, that "Iraq's relationship with the countries of the international coalition is strategic and that the Iraqi government is working to develop it in all areas."
