INA - Baghdad UNESCO office in Iraq denied on Tuesday, the rumours of removing the Iraqi higher education certificates from the rankings. “Media and some Facebook pages have posted news regarding this removal,” announced UNESCO office to INA. “These kinds of statements came from a person known as Qais Yahya that pretends to work with UNESCO,” The office also asserted that this news is not true and absolutely fake, besides, ‘there is no employee in UNESCO under such name’. Legal actions have been taken with the Iraqi security forces against such rumours.
