INA: Names of criminals killing the martyr Al-Sadr, his sister, and thousands of Iraqis

    The Iraqi News Agency - INA published the names of the criminals accused of killing the martyr Sayyid Muhammed Muhammed Baqir Al-Sadr, his sister, and thousands of Iraqis.

    "We arrested 5 of the most notorious criminals from the followers of the defunct regime and the killers of the martyr Al-Sadr, his sister, and thousands of Iraqis. The arrest operation was carried out by the provisions of the law banning the dissolved Baath Party and in high-level coordination with all relevant parties and the judicial institution," said the spokesman for the National Security Service, Arshad Al-Hakim, in a speech about the details of the arrest of a criminal gang of henchmen of the defunct regime - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
     
    He added, "The first accused, Saadoun Sabri Jamil Al-Qaisi, has the rank of brigadier general. He explicitly confessed to executing with his weapon against the martyred Sayyid Mohammed Baqir Al-Sadr and his sister, as well as carrying out mass executions of opponents on charges of belonging to the Islamic Da'wa Party, in addition to executing 8 citizens and burying them in mass graves in Fallujah and Jisr Diyala, executing 2 young men from the Al-Hakim family, and killing an opponent from the marshes of Nasiriyah." 

    "The accused, Haitham Abdul Aziz Faiq, has the rank of brigadier general, and among his crimes were supervising the execution of the martyred Sayyid Muhammed Baqir Al-Sadr and his sister, as well as carrying out the execution of a group of members of the Islamic Dawa Party," he said, adding" The accused Khairallah Hammadi, with the rank of brigadier general, among his most prominent crimes, is leading arrest and torture campaigns against the people of Balad district under the pretext of political affiliation, participating in their executions and burials, supervising the suppression of the Faylee Kurdish citizens in Baghdad, issuing and implementing decisions to forcibly displace the families of opponents in Balad to "Naqrat Al-Salman", being involved in crimes of cutting off hands in Kirkuk, and carrying out many arrests and executions against opponents in Baghdad."

    He added, "The accused Shaker Taha Yahya, with the rank of brigadier general, among his most prominent crimes is participating in the executions of Kurdish detainees in 1984 in Baghdad, preventing the holding of mourning councils against the backdrop of the assassination of the martyr Sayyid Mohammed Sadiq Al-Sadr, and participating in the killing of the opposition citizen Suleiman Birinji." 

    "The accused Ni'mah Muhammad Suhail Salih, with the rank of brigadier general, among his most prominent crimes is leading arrest and torture campaigns targeting more than 40 university students from the University of Sulaymaniyah and other universities, and the continuous persecution of members of Islamic parties," he noted.
