The Holy Shrine of Al-Kadhimiya announced today, Sunday, the participation of more than 14 million Pilgrims in the Rajabiya pilgrimage.
The shrine said in a press conference held today, attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The number of Pilgrims to Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) reached more than 14 million Pilgrims."
It thanked "everyone who contributed to the success of the visit from Husseini processions and security forces that participated in various categories in securing the pilgrimage," noting that "there is high awareness among Pilgrims."
The Baghdad Operations Command announced earlier today the success of the security plan drawn up to secure the millions of people who commemorate Rajabiya pilgrimage.
The Ministry of Interior stated that the Rajab pilgrimage plan is the least in terms of traffic accidents, fires and rumors.
The Ministry of Transport also confirmed that the reverse delegation operations continue until the last Pilgrims in the holy Kadhimiya with the participation of 350 buses and 11 trains.
