The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced today, Wednesday, that eighteen Iraqi universities participated in the Times Higher Education Rankings for Academic Subjects for 2025.
A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the Times Higher Education Rankings announced the results of its version for academic subjects for the year 2025 (World University Rankings by subject)".
He added that "the universities of Baghdad, Anbar, Al-Nahrain, Middle Technical, Diyala, Technology, Al-Mustansiriya, Babylon, Basra, Mosul, Al-Qadisiyah, Wasit, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical, Northern Technical, Tikrit, Karbala, Dhi Qar, and Al-Muthanna achieved positive ranks distributed among the following specializations:

▪️ Education Studies
▪️ Engineering
▪️ Life Sciences
▪️ Medical and Health
▪️ Physical Sciences
▪️ Social Sciences
He continued that "the international universities competed in the Times Higher Education Rankings for the year 2025
