    Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met Tuesday with a delegation from Technip Energies, headed by the company’s vice president Fakhri Dhaidan, on the sidelines of his official visit to London.

    The Prime Minister's media office stated in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) - that the meeting reviewed the company’s operations in Iraq, focusing on its consultancy services for Karbala and Basra refineries and its work in developing and expanding refining units for crude oil.

    During the meeting, the Prime Minister underscored the government’s commitment to advancing its plan for the development of the oil sector by enhancing refining capacities and increasing production of petroleum derivatives. He highlighted the government’s efforts in introducing new production lines equipped with the latest technologies and expertise from reputable international companies.

    Fakhri Dhaidan provided an overview of the company’s current projects in Iraq, emphasizing Technip Energies’ advisory and technological expertise and its capabilities in executing oil-related projects. He reaffirmed the company’s readiness to expand future cooperation in Iraq’s oil sector.
