A contract is signed by Health Ministry of and an Egyptian company to establish Al-Muqdadiy Hospital in Diyala

    The Ministry of Health announce Thursday the signing of a contract with an Egyptian company to establish Al-Muqdadiya Hospital with a capacity of (100) beds in Diyala province.
     
     According to a ministry statement, obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "under the supervision and presence of the Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, the Ministry of Health signed on Thursday a contract with the Egyptian Wadi EL Nile Company to establish Al -Muqdadiya Hospital with a capacity of (100) beds in Diyala province, within the Chinese loan agreement, which includes 16 provinces."
     
     The statement added that "the Director General of the Diyala Health Department, representing the Ministry of Health, Haider Al-Magdami, signed the agreement with Hazem Al-Sayed Hassan, representing the Egyptian Wadi EL Nile Contracting Company, the managing director and chairman of its board of directors."
     
     According to the statement, Health Minister Saleh al-Hasnawi confirmed that "the contract includes the establishment of the hospital and equipping it with furniture and medical and laboratory devices within a period of three years, in accordance with the ministry's controls and according to international standards, to be ready to provide health services to the people of Al-Muqdadiya."
