Karbala Criminal Court issues death sentence for a criminal belonging to terrorist gangs

Karbala Criminal Court issued on Wednesday, a death sentence against a terrorist criminal belonging to terrorist gangs.

In a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Supreme Judicial Council's media office declared that, "The terrorist participated in a terrorist operation that targeted six innocent people after they returned from a wedding party in Al-Musayyib District in 2013.”

“The sentence was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article 4/1 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005 and in accordance with Articles 2/1, 2 and 3 thereof,” The statement added.
