FBSA: Salary Domiciliation’s rate of the Region's employees exceeded 80% in banks

    The Federal Board of Supreme Audit (FBSA) confirmed on Monday that the rate of domiciliation of the salaries of employees of the Kurdistan region exceeded 80% in banks accredited by the Central Bank of Iraq.
     
     According to a statement by the media department of the parliament, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "the Finance Committee, headed by Atwan Al-Atwani, hosted the president of FBSA, Ammar Sobhi Khalaf and the advanced cadre, to discuss the draft of the first amendment to the federal budget law."


    He pointed out that "the completion of the committee's work on this amendment is subject to the presence of the Minister of Finance to clarify the legal basis for the disbursement of financial dues to foreign oil companies operating in the region." 

     For his part, the president of FBSA reviewed the "schedule of financial dues between the federal government and the region," stressing "documenting these dues in the reports of the Board, with notes on the delivery of the region's oil and non-oil revenues to the federal government." 

     The advanced staff at the National Audit Office gave a briefing on the progress of the procedures for Domiciliation the salaries of the region's employees, noting that "the Domiciliation rate exceeded 80% in banks accredited by the Central Bank of Iraq, with the end of the year set as a deadline for the completion of biometric cards to ensure that the problem of double salaries is addressed."
