Minister of Justice, Khaled Shawani, stressed today, Thursday, the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Iraqi and Egyptian Ministries of Justice.
The Media and Government Communication Department of the Ministry of Justice stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani met with his counterpart, the Egyptian Minister of Justice, Counselor Adnan Fangari, during his visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt to participate in the meeting of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers in its fortieth session, scheduled to be held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo."
The statement added that "during the meeting, ways of joint coordination in the judicial and legal fields were discussed."
According to the statement, Shawani stressed "the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Iraqi Ministry of Justice and the Egyptian Ministry of Justice, and exchanging expertise, especially in the fields of real estate registration, automation, and digital transformation, which contributes to raising the level of work and serving the interests of the two brotherly countries."
For his part, Counselor Adnan Fanjari stressed his ministry's aspiration to "consolidate cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Justice," stressing "the importance of continuous communication and discussing the conclusion of agreements, including the agreement to exchange convicts."
